Customer Service Representative

Data Business Equipment, a 2nd generation family owned company that specializes in the financial equipment space is looking to add a customer service representative to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis and work out of their headquarters in Urbandale, IA.

We offer a terrific training program with on the job training, hourly rate of $16-$19/hr, regular M-F 8am-5pm schedule, career advancement opportunities and strong benefits package.

This would be working on a smaller team of 4 other customer service representatives. On average, the customer service representatives will field a total of anywhere from 50-70 calls & emails per day in addition to their other work duties.

A partial listing of job duties for this customer service representative role includes:

1. Promptly and professionally answer incoming phone calls and route calls to the appropriate individual.

2. Ability to answer customer inquiries that relate to basic ATM service issues, escalating when necessary.

3. Responsible for service order entry, including the opening of tickets and confirmation of technician times and work performed.

4. Responsible for reviewing all open service orders throughout the day and following up with appropriate field tech to assure all calls are responded to within established service level agreements.

5. Assist with customer requested research, including duplicate statement requests and ATM disputes.

Requirements for this customer service representative position include:

-Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite specifically Word and Excel (Some formatting of company letters for Word and data entry and light formula knowledge for Excel)

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and prioritize daily tasks.
