JOB TITLE: Junior Accountant

EMPLOYER: Topo Designs, Denver CO (Hybrid in Denver)

REPORTS TO: Financial Controller

To continue our meteoric growth we are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant who we can rely on to manage daily accounting tasks.

Our ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running, work within a team environment and take initiative when needed.

Salary: $55k with fringe benefits up to another $5,000-8,000.

*This role requires you to live in or near Denver and willingness to be in the office a minimum of 2 times per week.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Junior Accountant

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required

• Analytical mind

• Critical thinker

• Self motivated; works well independently and adheres to deadlines

• Excellent understanding of GAAP accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

• Excellent knowledge of Excel

• Experience with NetSuite is preferred

Duties and responsibilities:

• Handle communications and collections for all accounts receivable

• Assist Dealer Services Representative with customer onboarding and credit analysis

• Track and monitor accounts payable

• Perform reconciliations

• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements

• Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

• Assist other departments with reviewing and entering expenses

• Update financial data in a timely manner

• Ensure that all information is accurate and update in regards to financials

• React in a timely manner if the information is not accurate and provide necessary solutions

• Support Financial Controller with other accounting projects as needed
