Retail Sales Associate - The Hearth Doctor

The Hearth Doctor is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our Auburn showroom. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service while educating customers about our premium fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet all customers in a warm, professional manner and guide them through our showroom experience
• Develop a deep understanding of The Hearth Doctor's product lines, features, and benefits to effectively present solutions
• Listen attentively to customers' needs, budget, and home specifications to make tailored product recommendations
• Walk customers through product demonstrations, operations, and maintenance best practices
• Collaborate with sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals while nurturing customer relationships
• Maintain updated knowledge on product inventory, promotions, and industry trends
• Assist with showroom merchandising, product displays, and maintaining an organized selling environment

Qualifications:

• Prior retail/sales experience, preferably in a showroom or home furnishings setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
• Strong problem-solving abilities to provide knowledgeable advice and overcome objections
• Self-motivated with the drive to achieve sales targets
• Basic technical skills to effectively utilize sales tools and systems
• Ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently, and work weekends as required
• High school diploma required; background in construction, design or related field a plus
