Job Description

Responsibilities:

Setting up of all machines in the machining department as needed. Processing new parts thru machining from gathering tooling to writing program on Lathes & Mills. Running 1st PPAP parts and ensuring parts is ready to go into production. All gages, tooling, and paperwork are up to date when PPAP is approved. Training of existing and new employees. Investigate machine issues and work on continuous improvement projects (improve efficiency, better gaging, combine or eliminate operations where available). Start-up, perform runoffs and training on new machines. And all responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

Experience with CAD CAM Software - must have a working knowledge of creating, editing, and posting. Print reading and knowledge in GD&T.

Physical and Mental Demands

Incumbent must be physically and mentally able to perform the job demands as listed above. It is an active job and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 25lbs.
