Job Description

MRI Technologist / X - ray Technologist / CT Technologist

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Graduate of an AMA approved school or Radiologic Tecnology, meeting the requiremens for registry and/or licensure in the state of New Jersey. Registry with ARRT(CT) or NMTCB.
3 years experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
Performance of all diagnostic computed tomography procedurs as described in the departmental standards.

General Experience And Training for the Computed Tomography Technologist:

Two [2] years of work experience performing computed tomography imaging.
BOTH Radiography AND Computed Tomography certification and registry [R.T.(R) (CT)(ARRT)] by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
Must possess and maintain during employment a Connecticut State license to practice radiography.
Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support certificate [BLS], must be active/current during employment.
Must maintain CEU compliance for AART registry/certification during employment.
