Keen on building a trustworthy and tight-knit relationship with the flight crew, a Paradise Chief Pilot strives to create exceptional experiences for both our passengers and crew at all times. Therefore, we are seeking someone capable of and comfortable with providing friendly, optimistic service outside the cockpit, while using data and analytics to maximize flight efficiency and performance inside the cockpit.

We are searching for a “pilot’s pilot”, one with significant real-world experience that helps them build empathy for their team and removes barriers to getting better. Able to continuously hold personal egos in check, as our Chief Pilot you should have an uncommon level of mental maturity, be an accessible mentor, willing to share your time and expertise, and be committed to helping others develop and hone their skill sets. You should be highly knowledgeable (but not all-knowing), demonstrating the curiosity and openness to explore new ideas and concepts brought to you by your team and peers, and proactively staying out ahead of technology and trends.

Outstanding communication skills are critical as a Paradise Chief Pilot. This includes keeping everyone in the “information loop” and being open to inquiries, suggestions, and resolutions from all members of the Paradise Team. As an integral part of the Paradise Leadership Team, our Chief Pilot must also be a collaborative player, appreciating and understanding all functional areas of our company: maintenance, scheduling, flight operations, and business management. You should also consistently strive to understand and rationally apply the Paradise Jets mission, vision, and key objectives in all decision-making.    

To be considered as our Chief Pilot, you must meet all FAA and safety requirements, hold a valid ATP and First Class Medical certification, and meet the requirements listed within FAR 119.69(a) and 119.71(d). An EMB-145 Type Rating is preferred but not required. International flight experience is preferred but not required.

A Chief Pilot based within the Phoenix or Dallas/Fort Worth metro area is highly preferred and includes additional perks. We will include up to $5,000 in moving expenses to relocate, if necessary.
