QA Automation Engineer

The Opportunity:We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated QA Automation Engineer. The ideal candidate for this mid-level position will be expected to focus on assuring the quality of our software products through automated and manual testing. • Develop and execute automated tests and testing frameworks for our software applications.
• Analyze test results, identify issues and report them dutifully to the development team.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand functionality objectives for effective testing.
• Ensure the final product conforms to the company's quality standards and client requirements.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging automation trends for continuous testing process improvement.

Desired Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a QA Automation Engineering role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Extensive knowledge in automated testing frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage testing cycles and proficient in issue tracking tools such as JIRA.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Knowledge in continuous integration/continuous deployment and build tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Ant.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing.
• Understanding of database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
