Job Responsibilities: As an Elementary School Social Worker at Hough Elementary School, your responsibilities will include:

Providing support (whole group, small group, 1:1) to identified students
Implementing crisis intervention strategies to ensure student safety and success.
Advocating for the well-being of students (social/emotional/academic).
Collaborating with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs.
Providing push-in and pull-out services as needed.
Facilitating IEP meetings.
Creating and maintaining interventions to understand the effectiveness of IEPs.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you should have:

A Master's (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work.
LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois.
Previous experience in a K-12 setting is preferred.
