Job Description

The Loan Review Officer conducts independent reviews and risk assessments of the Bank’s loans, ensuring adherence to Bank credit policies and procedures. The Loan Review Officer will provide management and the board with objective and independent reporting on the status of the loan portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Complete reviews of loan presentations and closed loans for compliance with Loan Policy to confirm they are accurately underwritten and documented.
Review Annual Loan Reviews to confirm re-underwriting and the loan risk grade assigned.
Identify and resolve findings with loan officers.
Prepare loan review findings report monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Create and Maintain analysis of HMDA and CRA activity to meet OCC requirements.
Be a resource for Credit Administration, Commercial lending, Loan Servicing, Compliance, and Internal/External Lending Audits.
Communicate in a positive, professional manner.

General Background

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business preferred.
3+ years’ experience in credit analysis, credit/loan review or commercial lending preferred.
Proficient with Excel spreadsheet modeling for tracking and analysis
