Supervisor Production Operations

CBD sales in the U.S. hit $5.3 billion in 2021, a massive number just two years after hemp-derived cannabinoids were federally legalized with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill. This growth is only expected to accelerate, with two notable forecasts projecting a U.S. market of $15 billion to more than $20 billion by 2024 and 2025, respectively.  As a leader in this industry, we need a talented Production Supervisor at our Indianapolis, IN site.  This position will work closely with our Director  of Operations to create and sustain processes, procedures, production plans across multiple manufacturing departments.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the daily workflow and personnel oversight of multiple production departments.
• Creates sustainable processes, procedures, and production plans.that support the business demands in the most cost effective manner.
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Actively involved in the planning of raw materials through finished inventory to ensure costs are contained and efficiency standards are met.
• Ensure department is running within 80% - 85% utilization.
• Ensure product is produced safely and meets high quality standards.
• Actively involved in the transition from manual processes to automation.  

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Experience is developing and managing to manufacturing KPIs
• Bakery experience a plus.
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be well versed in Excel.
