PrideStaff is looking for a Shipping and Receiving clerk for a prominent manufacturing company in Farmington Hills, MI. Please see below for details.
Job Summary
Performs duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing as well as delivering a variety of
materials, equipment, and supplies.
Pay Range: $16-$19/hour
Job Duties
- Complete shipments by processing and loading orders
- Operate powered industrial equipment
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks
- Schedule, move, weigh, stock, receive and pack inbound and/or outbound warehouse products
- Load and unload trucks
- Utilize JDE, RFS, and RF technology to transact the movement of inventory and ship product
- Bring raw materials to the work center
- Assist in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts
- Ensure correct labeling, packaging, and inventory
- Inspect for damaged products
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain the cleanliness of the work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience and Education
- Perform work under direct supervision
- Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
- Possess beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter
- 0 to 2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment
- Powered industrial equipment certification preferred

- Hi-Lo experience and heavy lifting required
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
