Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or comparable entry level bachelor’s degree). Exceptional writing abilities and the ability to use software aided writing devices (spell check, Grammarly, etc.), the ability to communicate in either written reports, oral presentations, email communications, and voice mails with proficiency that represents competence. The ability to work on projects that involve end user experiences and to serve as the intermediary for project staff (including project director, assistant directors, lead and key staff, and coaches) for project implementation and the launch and scale of technological strategies for managing time frames, accuracy, and precision of the student experience. Experience or familiarity with the principles of risk management, data security, and procedural safeguards that will ensure federal compliance to FERPA, et. al. Serves as the internal expert in digital design (instructional platforms), workflows and work automation, use of data collection tools (such as JotForm) and basic data analysis (MS Excel).
A minimum of three (3) years of related professional experience in project management and at least one (1) year of comparable experience in youth development or educational programs using workflows management, instructional platforms, and email marketing.
Ideal candidate would be able to perform with the following constraints: assigned multiple work assignments/projects, administers policies and procedures within the work unit; and will be evaluated on short to intermediate term results of actions on a periodic basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration; or Five years of experience in managing federal or government programs, grants and contract experience, and experience in managing program close outs and launch scenarios. Serves as the internal “consultant” for project alignment, strategic planning, performance management, and quality assurance.
Position Description
To support the administrative core of the agency, this position seeks to design the technology – enriched project management infrastructure to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and work flow automation across all project efforts. In addition, this position supports more effective strategies for project implementation and ensures the success of project initiatives to expand the range and reach of the agency’s mission.
Key duties include: the responsibility for developing tasks in automatic workflows, ensuring project milestones are achieved that do not sacrifice the user experience, respond to the federal requirements of each respective project, and lends itself to strong management that achieve organizational results. Duties will include interface with key staff such as operations and internal compliance, fiscal, and the agency director to provide scale and scope reports, successful transition of the participant application process, agency fiscal processes, and key instructional deliverables into online, technology mediated “spaces.”
This position, newly created, has key and critical timelines and deliverables for successful performance. Responsible for managing key performance indicators, quality assurance, participant records management, and supports the development of agency strategy, agency policy, and accreditation standards. Conducts meetings and internal staff development, and reports to the Executive Director.
Remote working is an option based on the recommendations of the appointing authority (Executive Director).
