Vendor Management Specialist

Essential Functions:

• Help develop and implement system and procedures for onboarding new vendors for FreshEdge operating companies.
• Review current vendors of FreshEdge Operating companies and work with individual companies to determine status and requirements.
• Assist in food safety initiatives and implementation and keeping key food safety records up to date.
• Collaborate with Food Safety team along with FreshEdge operating companies and Procurement regarding vendor onboarding and managing vendor paperwork status.
• We are what we eat – work with key food safety and operations teams on supporting and continuing to develop a best-in-class food safety program.

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field, MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient PC skills in CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems- Produce Pro, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common E Mail systems.
• History of working seamlessly with other functional counterparts on the overall go-to-market strategy, new product initiatives, and customer specific plans. History of consistently using individual customer goals, strategies and capabilities to tailor programs that generate success for both company and customer.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (Saturdays as needed)
• 8:00am – 4:00pm

Compensation:

• $25.00/hour

Physical Demands:

• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Work in cold or wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
• Travel by auto or by flying commercial or privately as required.
