Position Overview:

We seek a dedicated and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. This individual will oversee all aspects of the quality process and tracking to uphold our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

1.       Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

2.       Utilize a variety of measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators to perform accurate inspections.

3.       Perform visual inspections to identify defects, discrepancies, or irregularities in machined parts.

4.       Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality data, including non-conformances and corrective actions.

5.       Collaborate with production team members to address quality issues and implement corrective measures in a timely manner.

6.       Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.

7.       Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality at every stage of the manufacturing process.

8.       Communicate quality-related concerns or findings to relevant stakeholders, including supervisors, operators, and engineering personnel.

9.       Assist in the investigation of quality-related incidents or customer complaints and contribute to root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.

10.   Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements in quality inspection techniques.

Qualifications:

1.       High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in quality assurance or related field preferred.

2.       Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

3.       Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

4.       Strong knowledge of measurement tools and equipment used in precision machining.

5.       Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues accurately.

6.       Solid understanding of quality control principles, practices, and methodologies.

7.       Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.

8.       Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

9.       Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing quality-related challenges.

10.   Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed.
