Job Description

Electronic Engineering Technician’s Job Description:

Perform functional confirmation, electronic test, and repair of radar-based consumer products.
Troubleshoot, analyze, repair, and calibrate electronic devices at board level or system level.
Assemble engineering prototypes and assist with pre-production builds.
Initiate and maintain equipment calibration in the engineering lab.
Have experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope, power supplies and signal generators.
Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
Familiarity with LabVIEW a plus.
Familiarity with Altium circuit board design and layout a plus.
Some company travel required.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Electronic Engineering Technician or related work experience.
Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Good customer relations and communication skills and can deal effectively with others.
Strong aptitude for troubleshooting of electronic, electromechanical and electric circuits.
Be able to read and understand electronic schematics, technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
