Advanced Program Manager

The Hills Tandem, LLC is a growing consulting firm that needs a high-level program manager that will help take the company to the next level. There is exponential room for creativity, independence, and growth. The Hills Tandem provides strategy, planning, and management for its clients and is a Christian – Based Company.


Fueled by the passion for discovery, Project Management is the integrator of managing projects and project workflow, as well as the true hub for all project-related information within the organization. This leader directs the tasks necessary for the development and peer review of each project while overseeing the internal workflow of The Hills Tandem to ensure the execution of high-quality work, optimal resource management, execution excellence, timeline management, and project-level financials. This individual does not compromise on the cost/quality/speed equation! This is a Full-time remote position, with some travel required.

Requirements

THT is seeking an experienced program manager with 4-6+ years of experience in this role of progressive experience in program management, with a significant focus on healthcare and population health initiatives. Because our work is heavily focused on public health and economic development, we are seeking candidates with a strong background in community, and minority health, and knowledge of healthcare systems. Additionally, this person would be required to understand how to manage grants, programs, and contracts with minimal supervision. Being a self-starter and visionary is a huge plus. A proven track record of writing and securing grants at the private, state, and federal levels is another must. In addition to the ability to

Continuously develop, evaluate, and evolve processes and associated templates to drive agency consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in the areas of:


Technical Skills:

· Ability to manage multiple clients and portfolios

· Team Leadership and mentor a team of program managers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and achieve program goals.

· Stakeholder Engagement- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.

· Strategic Leadership- Provide strategic direction and vision for healthcare programs, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.

· Program Oversight- Oversee multiple healthcare programs simultaneously, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

· Budget Management- Manage program budgets, develop and control deadlines, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

· Compliance- Ensure strict adherence to healthcare compliance regulations, including HIPAA and other industry standards, throughout all programs.

· Performance Metrics-Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.

· Risk Management- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address issues that may impact program success.

· Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and compliance standards.

· Produce executive monthly program reporting

· Perform quality assurance on management deliverables

· Maintain the master project plans, resource schedules, and issue/change logs if required by the project team

· Analyze data and provide recommendations

· Advise the project teams on program management best practices

· Monitor and report on the portfolio health and progress to Senior Management

· Conduct project/program health checks

· Work with the Program Manager in the development and achievement of the project roadmap

· Create, coordinate, and monitor projects

· Identify and implement appropriate plans and strategies to meet deliverables

· Apply change, risk, and resource management

· Assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors

· Measure program performance and aim to maximize Return on Investment (ROI)

· Resolve projects’ scope issues to prevent scope creep

· Prepare status reports for leadership and clients’

· Demonstrated knowledge base to anticipate future resource needs and formulate schedules and plans with internal and external stakeholders accordingly.

Background

· A bachelor’s degree in a related field required

· Master in a public health/healthcare-related field preferred.

· Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and time management tools (e.g., Advantage)

· PMP Certification or Other Project Management Certifications

· 7+ years of project management experience, of which a subset has been spent managing projects independently

Job Requirements:

· Remote work

· In-person team meetings may be required a few times throughout the month.

· Travel up to 50% may be required.

· This position is a full-time salaried position.
