Lead Electrician

We will train!

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes

​​Qualifications:

• Journeyman and/or Master Electrician license and some PV installation experience
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Comprehensive understanding of the NEC as it relates to the installation of solar electric systemin a variety of applications and interconnection scenarios.
• Competence in design of PV systems including electrical wire sizing, conduit sizing, installation methods, EMT conduit bending, etc.
• Basic competence with computer skills including Excel, Word, email and web-based applications, smartphone, email, etc.
• Excellent teamwork skills – ability to foster a positive team environment

Required Licenses or Additional Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortably able to lift 40lbs, climb ladders, work with tools, work in crawl spaces, and work on high rooftops a major plus in varying temperatures
