Plant Manager

BiltWise Structures, LLC is a systems built housing company based out of Greenwood, SC. We build modular houses in a factory setting. This business model cuts costs and production time, raises precision and quality, is a fantastic learning environment, and we believe it's the future of home building. 

We are working on opening our second location here in Roswell, NM. We are an organization run by modular industry veterans, and we make a high end, versatile, quality product. We offer great company culture, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. The Plant Manager at the Roswell plant will report to our COO, Plant Manager of the SC plant, and the President.

Plant Manager

Reports To: 

COO, President, SC Plant Manager

Purpose:

Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the plant, hiring and developing the right team to build and deliver BiltWise homes.  

Business Outcomes:

• Optimizing operational efficiency and implementing cost control measures.
• On time production and delivery.

Essential Functions:

1. Day to day management: Ensuring productivity of the shop and cohesion and scheduling of each trade’s activities

1. Employee development and management: Identifying new leaders and coaching them into new roles. Performance management, reporting, compliance assurance, and counseling for production employees

1. New hire acclimation: Creating a welcoming environment for new hires as well as facilitating feedback. Management of new hire training and development.

1. Trade and labor needs planning: Collaborating with all trade departments, HR, and COO to predict and fulfill labor needs 

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient in multiple trades
• Strong leadership skills
• Bilingual a huge plus

Education & Experience:

• Construction management or business certificate/degree a plus
• Proven history of training & development 
• Proven history of managing multiple tradesmen
• Construction experience a non-negotiable
