Quality Control Inspector - King City Gardens

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the Division of Cannabis Control
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Knowledge of quality control methods
• Knowledge of state cannabis policy and law
• General knowledge of math, weights, and quantities
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Highly organized
• Accurate data-entry and recordkeeping skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
• Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Strong critical thinking skills

• Inspect product for trim job quality and product health prior to packaging
• Inspect shipment contents and compare with manifests to confirm correct order fulfillment 
• Print package labels and ensure they are properly affixed to packaging
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge and proficient use of inventory control and data collection systems, specifically Metrc and FloEnvy
• Review QC Checklists to ensure completion and accuracy
• Maintain complete and accurate records
• Maintain an in-depth compliance knowledge of Ohio cannabis regulations as they relate to job duties and functions
• Review upcoming orders and timelines and ensure that product is packaged and ready to be shipped in accordance with applicable state laws and standards set forth by King City Gardens
• Responsible for correcting any labeling and packaging errors to guarantee scheduled shipments are correct and ready for delivery
• Execute packaging and labeling tasks, including documentation and inventory control procedures, in accordance with state regulations
• Day-to-day product quality maintenance to include monitoring environmental controls, safe handling procedures, and SOPs regarding product exposure
• Follow established sanitation practices for staff, equipment, and facilities to ensure quality measures are met to maintain high quality of  product
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
