Facility Maintenance Technician

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $65k-75k
Location: Houston, TX 77015
Experience: 3-5+years

Position Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties in the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of company buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications & Requirement:

• Three to five years of work experience in lubricants or a related field or industry
• Three to five years of work experience in a supervisory role
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office and similar software programs
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Record keeping with Maintenance logs, Safety checks, tank inspections, etc.
• Ensure that the facility, equipment, and property are maintained and kept in good
• working order
• Maintain relationships with vendors and customers.
• Review and assist with agreements and contracts.
• Complete paperwork.
• Write reports and basic business correspondence.
• Maintain processing agreements.
• Assist with operations and capital budgets
• Interact and communicate effectively with various individuals and groups.
• Enforce company policy.
• Coordinate and maintain quality health, safety, security, and environmental protocols in accordance with company policy.
• Coordinate schedules with production for routine maintenance and inspections of equipment
• Locate price-competitive vendors
• Hold safety meetings and training when necessary.
• Complete special projects
• Other duties that may be requested by the Director, Supervisor, or Executive Management
