A highly acclaimed and high end property just south of Hartford, CT is looking to add a Catering Executive Chef to oversee all operations and assist with menu and recipe development. This role will oversee a team of culinary and F&B professionals providing top-quality food and beverage for a variety of clients and events year-round. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to join an award-winning company with a prestigious clientele.
This position offers a strong work/life balance with a mostly Mon - Fri schedule, with limited nights and weekends.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of high-volume Executive Chef experience
- 10+ years of culinary management experience
- Large scale banquet and catering experience
- Financial Management and reporting knowledge
- Oversight of all food cost, labor cost, and inventory
- Experience hiring and training employees
- Highly organized, having a true sense of ownership, and motivated for career growth
Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 base, comprehensive health, dental, vision, disability, retirement plan, generous PTO, and much more!
