Senior Tax Return Preparer - CPA/EA

Harding Bell International Inc, is a foreign and domestic investment tax and accounting specialist currently seeking a growth orientated, experienced and people orientated Senior Tax Return Preparer to join its Corporate Tax Team. Expectations are as follows:

· Professionally manage and build year round client relationships with a client first mindset

· Prepare and review corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and other tax returns

· Resolve IRS notices effectively working with the client and the IRS as necessary

· Occasional bookkeeping

· Assist in training, supervising mentoring and supporting junior staff

· Assist in establishing policies to improve efficiencies

· Represent the firm at networking events and identify and attract new business

· Generating business growth, increasing client retention and selling additional services

· Identify and resolve conflicts and solve problems for self, for firm and for clients

· Ambition to grow in the role

Position requires the following:

· Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field

· Current/valid CPA license or Enrolled Agent license or working towards obtaining the license

· 3+ years recent public accounting experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax

· Working knowledge of federal income tax laws

· Proficient with accounting and tax software

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Ability to help promote a team environment and work independently

· Results driven and deadline orientated

· Exemplary work ethic, collaborative and team orientated

The following experience a plus:

· Prior experience with paperless workflow systems

· Proficient user of Quick-books and Ultra Tax

· Preparation of Estate and Trust tax returns

· Tax return review experience

· Ability to manage junior staff
