Job Description

Follow existing processes and procedures as detailed by the Warehouse Manager Run the daily pick operation which includes pulling products from the bulk storage warehouse and loading the shelves for the pickers
Drive a sit-down forklift Safely, accurately, and efficiently loading and unloading products from trailers and containers
Verify product accuracy and counts against supplier packing lists
Store pallets in the correct locations and update the database with new locations
Conduct cycle counts and investigate the root cause of problems
Make recommendations to improve processes, effectiveness, and efficiency
Successfully run projects and other related duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Always maintain a safe and clean work environment for yourself and your coworkers

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED
Data entry experience
Sit-down Forklift experience
Computer and cell phone proficiency for data entry and internal company communication
Prior warehouse, shipping, and/or distribution experience required
English and Spanish speaking preferred

Ability to:

Clearly and effectively communicate with management and co-workers
Organize and prioritize work tasks to optimize efficiency
Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping orders; attention to detail
Identify potential delays and/or address immediate delays and provide an effective and timely resolution and/or contingency plan; problem-solving
Work independently with limited supervision; self-starter

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Constantly lifting 10-35lbs daily
Frequently: Lifting up to 50-65 pounds of force, occasionally up to 70 pounds
Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking
Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity
