The essence of this role //

The Registered Nurse provides compassionate care to patients who are inspired and motivated to achieve feeling healthy, energetic, and good about themselves.  Using a holistic approach, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care according to the patients treatment plans and under the direction of the managing Nurse Practitioner. 

What you will do //

• Provide prescribed services to patients according to protocols and in accordance with applicable health care, patient safety, patient privacy and confidentiality and occupational laws and regulations.
• Obtain vital signs, and administer IV Therapy
• Ensure all products rendered are not expired and notify Nurse Practitioner and/or Clinic Manager of any expired products on hand.
• Follow protocols for mixing vitamins.
• Observe, monitor and accurately record patient behavior and progress of treatment plans
• Maintain communication with the Nurse Practitioner regarding patient treatment and care
• Ensure proper consent forms are signed by each patient
• Maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date medical records, charts and reports for all patients treated
• Evaluate health education/promotion needs of patients and provide necessary training and instruction
• Identify equipment that needs repair and bring it to the attention of the Clinic Manager
• Report to Nurse Practitioner immediately after an emergency or unexpected situation with a patient
• Must use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for each treatment
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to have //

• Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing 
• Valid and active Registered Nurse License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse
• Experience providing IV therapy and/or pre-procedures
• Experience using EMR software
• Superior communication and patient service skills
• Ability to multitask and experience working in a fast paced environment

Additional Insights //

• Week day and weekend shifts available
• Hourly rate is $26.00 per hour
• $2.00 shift differential for working Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
• This role can also earn commission on products/services sold to patients

  • Sunday - 1:00pm to 4:00pm
  • Monday – 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Tuesday -  8:00am - 6:00pm
  • Wednesday – 12:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Thursday – 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Friday – 10:00am – 9:00pm
    
  • Saturday - 10:00am - 9:00pm
