Job Description

Small one-physician eastside urology office seeks a Medical Scribe who is hard-working, motivated, reliable, and a team-player. Opportunity to learn about patient care and valuable experience for potential future career as a health care provider. Job duties and responsibilities include accompanying provider into the patient exam room to transcribe history and physical exam and accurately document the encounter electronically . Candidates must demonstrate organizational ability, attention to detail and initiative. Flexible work schedule, 30-40 hours weekly.

Requirements:

Have high school diploma or GED preferred
Scribe experience or graduate from a Scribe training program
Typing proficiency required
Knowledge of medical terminology
Computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new applications, and ability to accurately record information.
Able to effectively work in a busy environment
Able to multitask, be flexible and a team player
Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality.
