ROLE: General Manager
SITE: South Coast Plaza, California
EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years in FOH management role
COMPENSATION: $85,000 per year

Management Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive chef, kitchen staff, and management to oversee all restaurant areas and make critical decisions.
- Coordinate with Corporate office for efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate staffing plans and adhere to company standards to boost sales and reduce costs.
- Manage restaurant finances, security, and uphold quality standards.
- Handle guest and employee complaints, perform floor management, and exemplify exceptional guest service.
- Assist during meal periods, program menu specials, manage bookings, and develop promotions.
Hiring, Training, and Development:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train team members while ensuring compliance with liquor laws.
- Communicate performance expectations, conduct appraisals, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Manage disciplinary procedures and address employee concerns.
- Train staff in safety procedures and supervise their execution, including emergency protocols.
- Administer Workers Compensation, prepare schedules, and manage restaurant finances.
Administrative Duties:
- Supervise daily operations, open/close shifts, and manage inventory and supplies.
- Analyze department reports, participate in sales strategy meetings, and monitor sales performance.
- Understand budgets, payroll, and expenses to achieve financial goals.
- Handle cash, operate equipment, and perform additional tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a standing position, lift heavy objects, and serve hot dishes.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with attention to detail and sanitation rules.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in a management role with extensive front-of-the-house experience.
- Knowledge of legal procedures, sanitation requirements, and food safety standards.
- Certification in ServSafe Manager and Alcohol, if required.
