In this role your primary focus is to assist our team of Insurance Account Representatives to achieve our agency growth goals. By working closely with our team of Insurance Account Representatives including our lead Insurance Account Representative, you will develop your insurance marketing skills and abilities that will center around the quoting process and identifying customer needs. You will report directly to the Agency owner in this role. As you gain valuable experience as a Marketing Service Assistant, you will have further opportunity for advancement within our agency.

Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting our team of Insurance Account Representatives in the solicitation of insurance and financial service accounts to new customers and current customers by preforming the following:
- Creating new quotes for prospects that have requested quotes for products and services through the agencies marketing efforts.
- Working with customers to collect required documentation concerning new policies and products.
- Assisting new customers with the implantation and understanding of telematics-based technology discounts.
- Contacting new and current customers to set new customer and product specific meetings.
- Directly working with customers/prospects through a needs-based quoting conversation.
- Working with underwriting to assist the sales team with additional underwriting requirements for new customers.
- Secondary responsibilities:
- Directly working with customers/prospects through a needs-based quoting conversation.
- Making marketing phone contacts directly with customers to assist Insurance account representatives in their marketing efforts.

- Proficiency working with a variety of computer applications/websites, role is very heavily computer based.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications and Educational Preferences
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance producer licensing.
