VP Commercial Loan Officer
- Full-Time
Attracts, develops & maintains CRE & C&I business relationships within the Bank’s lending radius. Expands commercial lending and commercial deposit relationships by actively cross-selling other bank products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Generates new business opportunities within the bank's defined lending area to attract and retain quality clients.
- Effectively screens new loan applicants; collects and analyzes financial and related data to establish creditworthiness; ensures the timely submission of a complete application with supporting documentation to create a smooth process from application to loan closing.
- Able to negotiate credit terms & conditions and structure loans in compliance with bank policies.
- Provides timely completion of file comments upon receipt & review of annual financial information
- Promotes and sells related bank financial products and services as appropriate
- Develops and maintains a network of professional relationships for referrals
- Participates in community activities to promote and strengthen the image of the bank.
- Experienced in negotiating and structuring a range of CRE & C&I deals from simple to complex;
- Solid financial analysis skills
- Understands loan documentation
- Strong organizational, reasoning & communication skills;
- Works well in a team environment;
- Self-motivated and independent with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- 3 years of Commercial Credit experience and/or Lending Officer Training Program; or 3 years of commercial lending experience;
- BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
