Law Clerk - Part Time

Castle Metal's corporate Legal team is looking for a part-time Law Clerk to work in the Oak Brook facility.  This role will be around 20-25 hours per week, with a potential to turn into a full time opportunity down the line.  

PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for administrative and legal tasks.  Incumbent will work closely with members of the Legal department.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (performs other duties as assigned): 

• Review and revise contractual agreements 
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
• Assist with management of contract repository 
• Assist with application of document retention policy 
• Draft certain legal communications 
• Assist with litigation management 
• Support team with various projects 
• Perform other administrative duties as necessary in support of the legal department.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

• General office environment (keyboard, mouse, telephone use) 
• Manual dexterity (grasp, hand/wrist movement) 
• Stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach 
• Push/pull 
• Light Lifting (25lbs or less)
