Learning and Development Trainer, Sales Center

Responsibilities:

• Confers with management and team leads to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training.

• Conducts training per Orientation schedule.

• Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.

• Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training.

• Reports on the progress of employees under guidance during training periods.

• Assists employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions.

• Maintaining reports to monitor individual training growth and identify lack of progression.

• Conducts role-playing activities to develop interpersonal skills (e.g. negotiation, teamwork, and conflict management)

• Rotates training between new hire training, ongoing daily training and workshops, and other specialized training for the company

• Uses graphic design software to create learning materials

• Assists in administering our learning management system

• Works with the Contact Center to ensure all employees are competent experts

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Work experience as a Customer Service Trainer or similar role

• Experience in sales or customer service positions is a plus

• Knowledge of Learning Management Software (LMS)

• Familiarity with interactive learning activities

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• High School or equivalent education

• Additional certification in training is a plus

• Project Management skills
