As a Sales Center Learning & Development trainer, you will play a critical role in implementing and managing comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales center. You will deliver high-quality training initiatives that align with our business objectives and ensure that all employees are competent experts. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional facilitation abilities, a strong sales, development, and training background, experience with learning management systems, and a passion for developing and empowering teams. This role will interact with other sales sectors of our company, including but not limited to door-to-door sales.
Responsibilities:
Confers with management and team leads to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training.
Conducts training per Orientation schedule.
Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training.
Reports on the progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
Assists employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions.
Maintaining reports to monitor individual training growth and identify lack of progression.
Conducts role-playing activities to develop interpersonal skills (e.g. negotiation, teamwork, and conflict management)
Rotates training between new hire training, ongoing daily training and workshops, and other specialized training for the company
Uses graphic design software to create learning materials
Assists in administering our learning management system
Works with the Contact Center to ensure all employees are competent experts
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Work experience as a Customer Service Trainer or similar role
Experience in sales or customer service positions is a plus
Knowledge of Learning Management Software (LMS)
Familiarity with interactive learning activities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High School or equivalent education
Additional certification in training is a plus
Project Management skills
