Warehouse Receiving

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our team in North Lima, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring accurate and efficient receiving processes.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming merchandise and verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
• Inspect products for damages, defects, or discrepancies and document any issues
• Unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed
• Label and tag merchandise with appropriate identification and tracking information
• Organize and store received products in designated warehouse locations
• Update inventory records and reconcile discrepancies in inventory counts
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting, stock replenishment, and stock rotation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse facilities, including storage racks, aisles, and work areas
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in warehouse receiving or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and document information
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
