Description:

This position begins as a seasonal role. After 90 days, based on company needs, attendance, and performance, you may be offered a regular full-time position.


Position Overview:


The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy and organization within the warehouse. This position ensures products are received in good condition, properly documented, and stored according to company standards. The Warehouse Receiver works closely with purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams to support efficient operations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming deliveries from carriers and vendors.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
  • Inspect incoming products for damage, shortages, overages, or discrepancies.
  • Accurately record received inventory
  • Safely unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
  • Organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Report damaged or incorrect shipments to Purchasing or Management promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 year's of experience receiving in a Warehouse
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Must be reliable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification or experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials up to 60 lbs.
  • Standing, walking, and being on your feet for the entire shift
  • Repeated bending, reaching, twisting, and squatting throughout the entire shift
