Job Summary and Deliverables

The Attending Clinician/Therapist III is a fully licensed clinician and provides mental health and SUD assessments, care coordination, treatment planning, individual psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment approaches. The Therapist III supervises a team of therapists and provides orientation, training, and mentoring to new therapists.

Essential Functions

• Supervises a team of therapists and provides clinical direction and consultation
• Facilitates huddles and clinical training
• Provides orientation, training, and mentoring to new therapists; ensures that orientation and training objectives are completed within established timeframes
• Ensures the delivery of quality care and adherence to programming standards and expectations
• Creates individualized care plans with detailed goals and objectives
• Provides individual and group evidence-based psychotherapy interventions
• Utilizes evidence-based tools to assist with all aspects of treatment (i.e. drug testing, etc.)
• Provides targeted case management services as described by the Medicaid manual as necessary
• Collaborates with community partners to meet client and programming objectives
• Completes documentation within required timeframes
• Manages a client caseload and provides direct care - a minimum of 20 hours per week

Who We’d Love to Join Our Team

Our children and your services serve children, teens, and adults with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses by providing assessments, family, individual, and group therapy, crisis interventions, abuse, and trauma treatment, and medication management. For this role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about leading and mentoring and has experience helping to shape culture and clinical services. Additionally:

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited University/College
• LCSW/CMHC/LMFT license current and in good standing in the state of Utah
• One year of full-licensure experience
• Two years of behavioral health experience
• Previous supervisory experience (Preferred)
