EEG/EMG Technician

Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for a Certified EEG or EMG Technician to work in the Clear Lake for Houston Methodist. Candidates must have at least 3 years experience and certifications are required.

The EEG/EMG Technician will be responsible for performing EEGs and EMGs in the Neurology clinic, providing excellent patient service and communication and facilitating an exceptional patient experience to build and reinforce satisfaction, trust and drive organizational loyalty.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the performance of END procedures of a progressively advanced nature in a patient care environment
• EPIC (EMR) experience preferred
• 
  
• R-CLTM - Certified Long Term Monitoring (ABRET) required
• Must have two of the following Certifications:
• R-EEGT - Registered Electroencephalographic Technician (ABRET)
• R-EPT - Registered Evoked Potentials Technologist (ABRET)
• RNCST - Registered Nerve Conduction Technologist (AAET)
• RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographer Technologist (BRPT)
• EEG - Canadian Board Registered EEG Technologists (CBRET)
• American Heart BLS Required
• No Smoking/Nicotine use

Job Details:

• Part-Time to Start - Tuesday Wednesday Thursday from 8am-5pm
• Starting at $25 based on experience
