Position: Lead Technician
 
Location: Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area
 
Compensation: $25-$27 per hour + Bonus (starting range of $50,000 + bonus – first year anticipated earnings $54,000+)

Your Mission: Your pivotal mission is to train to the highest level, train others to their highest level, create and manage teams, and install and service the most beautiful lights in Kansas City. This role is your stage to showcase your technical skills and pave the way for a growing service team.

• Hybrid Work from Home: For at least the remainder of 2024, work can be performed from home, job site, company vehicle, or co-working space. Co-working space and conference rooms are available 3 days per week if needed. Daily in-person or virtual meetings with owner.

 
Your Profile:

• 2+ years' installation experience in sales, preferably in outdoor lighting.
  • Additional backgrounds could also include: cable installation, low-voltage, internet installation, and similar fields.
• Proven record of creating and following design plans.
• Exceptional talent development and motivational skills.
• Deep pride in exceptional work product.
• High emotional intelligence and superior interpersonal abilities.
• Outstanding communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and inspirational to your teams.

 
Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to cover some weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to drive a company truck while towing a company trailer.
• Physical capability to climb ladders and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Work comfortably and efficiently at elevated heights.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
 

• Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
• Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
• Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as on rooftops or with high ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, lighting, landscape equipment, electrical, wires, etc.
• Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors (days and evenings) for extended hours.
