Roadway Civil Engineer

The Kleingers Group is looking for a Roadway Staff Engineer to join our Transportation Team. A community’s transportation links — roadways, highways, and trails — affect how residents and visitors interact. Our team of transportation engineers supplies a safer route to your destination. The preferred candidate must have experience as a civil engineer with emphasis in the fields of highway/roadway and infrastructure design, stormwater, and multimodal transportation projects to include experience in:

• Highway Geometrics.
• Roadway modeling and cross section development.
• Drainage and erosion control plans to include hydraulics report preparation.
• Signing and pavement marking plans.
• Maintenance of traffic plans.
• Utility design coordination.
• Preparation of construction documents and specifications and estimate packages.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• A minimum of 2 years of roadway design experience is required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required. MicroStation/OpenRoads is a plus.
• Familiarity with ODOT and local standards and guidelines is a plus.
• Verbal and written command of the English language.
