Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Staff Accountant to join our team. You will work closely with our other professionals and gain exposure to various tax issues and strategies. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Conducting tax research and staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Assisting in tax planning and advisory services for clients to optimize their tax positions.
  
• Assisting with IRS and state tax authority correspondence and audits.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projects.
• Maintaining organized and accurate tax documentation and files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA qualification.
• Proficiency in tax and accounting software, along with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
