Inventory/Production Embroidery Assistant

Snelling is currently hiring for an Inventory/ Embroidery Assistant in the Irondale area. Seeking a
self-motivated candidate with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills to join the warehouse and quality control staff.

First Shift opening, with pay starting around $17-19/hr, doe

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR EMBROIDERY ASSISTANT:

• Operation of the Tajima Embroidery Machine to sew logos on merchandise
• Position and hoop merchandise for multi-head embroidery machine
• Trim and prep the finished garment
• Receive and count merchandise by order

• Ability to maintain established production and accuracy rates
• Develop a high working knowledge of the company’s embroidery procedures

QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMBROIDERY ASSISTANT:

· Embroidery, sewing, or production experience beneficial

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform fine detailed work such as threading a needle
• Excellent dexterity
• Required use of hands, wrists, upper arms, and shoulders in repetitious movements
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day

• Must be able to lift to 20 pounds
• Ability to learn computer programming for embroidery machines
• Demonstrated attention to detail with an eye for quality
• Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize
