Trailer Mechanic

NON AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC; TRAILER REPAIRS. NO TOOLS NECESSARY!!

Mechanics are required to perform a range of duties and responsibilities that can differ from day to day depending on the jobs that they are assigned. This can include anything from routine maintenance work, bed cover installations to specialized repairs.

12 VOLT LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL WIRING EXPERIENCE A PLUS!!

Familiar with auto parts, tires, car alarms and aftermarket automotive also a plus.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including but not limited to tire service, bearing packing, welding, 12v lighting and heavy lifting. Perform installations on bed covers. Install hitches on vehicles. etc.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with trailers.
• Conduct inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
• Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of repairs performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a trailer or truck mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of power tools, fasteners and repair techniques.
• Proficient in tire service, 12v wiring, welding, and heavy lifting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
