Job Description

Nick The Greek, Bon Air Center, Greenbrae, CA is looking for one store manager to join our strong team. We are located on 300 Bon Air Center. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

Pay: $22-$27

INTRODUCTORY PERIOD

You will begin your employment as a Store Manager in the Introductory Period phase. You will be considered an Assessment Status Team Member until you complete and pass the 6 Month Introductory Period, which begins on the first day of Store Manager Training. Your Assessment Status does not alter your at-will employment status.

Upon completion of the 6 Month Introductory Period, your Manager will review the Store Manager Expectations & Standards with you and determine your overall rating in each category.


LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT

Teamwork

  • Performs exceptionally on the floor by helping and encouraging management and team members so they can deliver the best customer service possible and store operations run seamlessly
  • Exemplifies collaboration by establishing a high level of engagement in their work
  • Demonstrates camaraderie with all Team Members through development of caring and respectful relationships and strives to foster those relationships between team members
  • Keenly aware of store morale and with the help of management implements strategic plans to create an enjoyable and rewarding work environment


Example Team Member

  • Consistently demonstrates quality performance by displaying stellar customer service, ensuring store cleanliness, serving food to standards, remaining productive, and displaying professionalism
  • Sets fabulous example to all Team Members that inspire them to do the same


Communication

  • Demonstrates great communication skills by ensuring all of the right people know the right things at the right time through the development and execution of effective communication systems
  • Communicates with Team Members and direct report(s) openly, honestly, directly, and promptly with a positive and encouraging tone in order to help Team Members fix problems and celebrate successes
  • Implements and executes company changes proficiently, efficiently and accurately according as per standards established by the company
  • Communicates and responds professionally to email and other computer applications in timely manner
  • Spanish-speaking a plus


Scheduling & Operations

  • Establishes and maintains a consistent staff schedule with shifts that meet store demands both operationally and financially (within 17 - 26% labor percentage)
  • Establishes and maintains a break schedule that supports the stores and allows team members to deliver the best service
  • Creates and effectively implements organizational systems that provide timely completion of administrative tasks while guaranteeing smooth floor operations
  • Strategizes ways to streamline and improve administrative tasks
  • Completes all administrative tasks on time


Store Operations

  • Displays thorough knowledge of restaurant operations and ensures store operations are following restaurant operating and training manuals and the direction of the District Manager
  • Manages appropriate levels of inventory to meet store demand while maintaining a (25 - 27% food cost)
  • Identifies and resolves all safety, security, equipment and facility issues


Financial Performance

  • Consistently operates within or below budget and meets or exceeds financial goals set by the company
  • Analyzes financial data and projections to measure overall business performance and creates action plans to improve as necessary
  • Keeps wastes ata minimum, within the established budget


Stellar Customer Service

  • Delivers impeccable customer service to each and every customer
  • Actively ensures that all Team Members are consistently delivering Stellar Customer Service
  • Recognizes team members not delivering stellar customer service and creates action plans to improve performance
  • Brainstorms with management way to improve the Teams customer service


Food Quality

  • Ensures that every dish is served with consistent quality, accuracy and presentation per Nick The Greek Quality Standards
  • Ensures that every team member on their shift is serving per Nick The Greek Quality Standards


Store Cleanliness & Appearance

  • Ensures all areas of the store remain consistently clean, presentable and comfortable
  • Updates all refines the cleaning roster as needed to ensure it is followed completely and thoroughly by management and team members
  • Take personal responsibility for keeping the store in beautiful condition for the enjoyment of customers and to support the Team


Productivity & Efficiency

  • Motivates their team to be productive, leading by example and taking initiative
  • Develops systems with the Assistant Store Manager and Shift Leaders to maximize the productivity of the back office

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $22.00 - $27.00/hour.
