Research Associate II / Sr. Research Associate

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate who will be responsible for conducting, generating and presenting pre-clinical in vivo data to support the progression of our cancer vaccine research program. In vivo work will also include characterizing and optimizing new models of immunotherapy and oncology working closely with the team.
In vivo work includes responsibility for all small animal handling techniques, mouse tumor inoculation and measurement by multiple techniques (s.c., i.p. and i.v. dosing), as well as blood and tissue collection.
In vitro and ex vivo work includes a range of humoral, cellular and molecular biology assays and techniques to help interpret in vivo observations.
Other responsibilities include operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, accurate, timely record keeping and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree and 3 years of Scientific experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Scientific experience
Hands on experience with small rodents and administering drugs through various routes required
Research experience with mouse models of cancer and cancer immunotherapy required
Hands on experience with molecular and cellular biological techniques (Flow, ELISpot, ELISA, PCR, Western, etc.) is preferred
Familiarity with in vivo imaging techniques, such as the use of bioluminescence or fluorescence imaging
Previous drug discovery experience
Computer literacy is essential, especially proficiency with GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a flexible team-oriented environment
