Fitness Director - FW

Point Ruston is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, effective, and results-oriented FULL TIME Fitness Director, focused on creating energy and high participation in Vitality/Fitness events/programs for residents 55+.

Full time Benefits include: Base Medical plan is 99% employer paid, Dental, Vision and Life at the employees expense, Paid sick (1 hour for every 40 worked, able to roll over max of 56 hours) and 6 paid holidays per year plus a paid day off for your birthday, one week vacation after one year employment, with an additional week beginning in year 2 finally with an additional week starting in the 47th month for a total of 3 weeks, quarterly raises for hourly employees, 401K eligible after 6 months with up to a 4% employer match after one year of employment, up to 3 days of bereavement and up to 5 days jury leave, First Choice Health Employee Assistance Program, free CEU’s, LPN and CNA annual license reimbursement, Free meal at work.

This is an exciting full-time position; opportunity for an experienced Vitality/Fitness Director who will be responsible to conduct and supervise group exercise programs and related fitness group activities for our residents twice weekly and some one-on-one training with the residents as needed.

Must be able to promote, teach, innovate, supervise, and implement an active and healthy fitness environment for all participants. You must have the desire and compassion to work in a collaborative environment for the improved care and satisfaction of our residents.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Personal Training: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Personal Trainer (Preferred)
• AED Certification (Preferred)

Health and fitness education and personal trainer certification.

Experience working in fitness training with a geriatric population.

Have excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology; fitness equipment, and its proper use.
