Lead Carpenter

North River Builders Inc has an immediate opening for a multi-talented Lead Carpenter to join our quality-driven residential remodeling/renovation company. This is a hands-on Lead Carpenter position, not strictly a supervisory role. Pay Rate: The person best qualified to determine your appropriate pay rate is you, so please arrive at your interview ready to discuss your desired hourly rate.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong sense of accountability for all aspects of the project
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to run a clean and safe job site (OSHA certification a plus)
- Experience in residential remodeling/renovation (experience with high-end homes a big plus)
- Extensive remodeling experience, from Kitchens & Baths to whole-house renovations and large additions
- Ability to both perform and supervise fast and accurate framing and fine finish work
- Open to learning about new methods and materials
- Able to lead a team or work solo as required
- Must be non-smoking, substance free
