Key Responsibilities:As a Lead Carpenter, you will:

  • Perform tasks related to all phases of commercial construction, including:
    • Metal stud framing
    • Drywall installation
    • Layout and measurements
    • Ability to cut doors and windows, frames, and perform hardware installation
    • Carpentry
    • Framing and finish, interior and exterior
  • Assist with on-site troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Exhibit pride in your work with attention to detail and quality.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar construction role is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate.
  • Proficiency in commercial construction techniques ( metal stud framing, drywall, ability to cut doors and windows, frames, and perform hardware installation, carpentry; framing and finish, interior and exterior) is a plus.
  • Night shifts are mandatory - The ability to work nights is non-negotiable for this role.
  • Weekend availability - weekend work may be required depending on project demands and timelines.
  • Occasional travel - The majority of projects are within daily commuting distance from our offices. However, candidates should be open to occasional travel for assignments located outside the immediate area.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
