Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with welding experience to join our team!
This person will be responsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape. Their duties include reviewing blueprints, cutting the metal into the appropriate shape, and smoothing molten metal to remove creases and some others.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical & mechanical issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair all standard electrical components, detect minor equipment problems, and correct them before they become significant issues.
- Disassemble/reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc., and repair/replace worn or defective parts.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Troubleshoot PLC systems and other control systems and install wiring systems for power and control.
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair ac/dc motors, starters, relays, and drives
- Welding and machining experience.
- Install new equipment and understand technical manuals, read blueprints, and how purchase replacement parts necessary to make equipment repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance per planned schedules.
- Clean and lubricate machinery.
- Inspect equipment operating conditions. Identify root causes of equipment problems.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisors.
Compensation: $640 per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday - From 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
Worksite location: Medley, FL.
Qualifications:
- The Ideal candidate will be either a graduate of an industrial apprenticeship program or a 2-year technical school with at least three 3 years of industrial experience or have a minimum of 5 yrs.
- Experience as a maintenance electrician/mechanic in an industrial manufacturing facility.
- Experience in general labor, repairs, maintenance tech, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with power tools and manual tools.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work a full schedule and complete projects.
- Must have a good attitude and be willing to help to accomplish team goals.
