Position Summary:
The design engineer's primary responsibility is to develop reusable and disposable products using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) software. Additionally, the design engineer will need to leverage rapid prototyping methods and have a good understanding of manufacturing products using CNC and injection molding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop products based on internal and external inquiries.
- Organize product files and release part files through engineering change notices.
- Write manufacturing work instructions and part inspections.
- Verify and validate parts and complete products using various test equipment.
- Assist with RMA (return merchandise authorization) evaluation and failure diagnosis.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Mechanical engineers need a solid understanding of math, including mathematical principles, calculus, and statistics.
- Proficient in Solidworks or equivalent (CAE) software.
- Attention to detail.

- Drawing/Print creation.
- Record keeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering.
- Experience with quality control techniques.
- Understanding of ISO-9001/2016 &13485 requirements.
- Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
Salary Range:
Salary from 70K-90K, Based on education and experience.
