Customer Research Specialist

[Job Summary]
We would like to kindly invite customer research specialists to apply for a position in our Americas R&I Center. This position focuses on managing various customer and market research studies to better understand the North American market, customers, and consumer feedback of our products. Valuable results from these studies will be applied to our marketing/sales strategy and development of innovative new products.

[Job Description]
  • Initiate and oversee internal customer and market research projects, including coordinating the logistical and technical aspects of research studies;
  • Design and execute various customer research studies, including sensory analysis, focus group discussions (FGD), in-depth interviews (IDI), home usage tests (HUT), etc.;
  • Synthesize research data into insightful reports and compelling proposals that directly inform product and marketing decisions;
  • Cultivate and maintain active network with research partners;
  • Attend customer research seminars in North America, report main contents, and propose new customer research models;
  • Continuously explore and integrate new research methodologies to stay at the forefront of consumer insights;
  • Monitor and analyze competitive brands and product launches; 
  • Achieve or exceed all established KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

[Qualifications]
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, Market /Consumer Research, or Psychology;
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in customer/consumer/market research; experience in beauty, health, or food industry preferred;
  • English language proficiency mandatory; additional Korean, or Spanish language proficiency preferred;
Skill Sets
  • Familiar with market-best customer research practices and trends;
  • Documentation skills using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong written and oral communication;
  • Web- or literature-based searching and summarizing skills;
  • Active networking and sociability;
  • Analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills;
  • Business acumen/commercial awareness and numerically inclined.
