Job Description

Patrol assigned areas to prevent crime and enforce federal, state, and Tribal laws and regulations. Respond to radio messages, telephone instructions, and citizen requests for assistance at scenes of disorder or crime. Schedule shifts to provide adequate patrol coverage at all times. Approve schedules, overtime and leave for officers. Review and approve reports. Attend Division meetings as needed. Supervise and train officers.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED certificate and possess a valid Oregon Drivers License. No felony convictions on record and no disqualifying misdemeanor convictions. Must possess a Basic Police Certification and have a minimum of three years experience as a Police Officer. Must submit to pre-employment drug screen.
