A local Concrete Construction company in Schertz is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain their concrete cutting fleet! You will focus on diesel vehicles and hydraulic components; apply today for an opportunity to develop essential skills that will set you up for success in this specialized field!

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on medium-heavy equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and fluid checks, to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment history, to track performance and compliance with maintenance schedules
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of heavy equipment or vehicle maintenance
- Must be able to work long hours and overtime
- Must be comfortable occasionally servicing vehicles at project site (in the elements)
- Must be mechanically inclined and adaptable to learning company equipment
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Valid Driver’s License and clear MVR Report
- Must be 21 or older
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday (mostly)
- 6 AM-5 PM (mostly)
Pay Rate:
- $22-$28/Hour
