We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our key clients for a position of Senior Mobile QA Automation Tester to work on Remote basis.

Pay Rate: $40/hr. W2

Job Description for Test Automation-Lead/Specialist

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing with a minimum of 6+ years of software test-automation experience for web applications, web-services, database testing etc.
• Proficient with test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, REST-Assured, Maven, GitLab, Postman, Swagger, Azure DevOps, Jira, CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Proficient in Selenium Java, with an understanding of OOP patterns and principles.
• Proficient Web Automation, API Testing (RESTful, MQ based APIs, XML, JSON, etc.)
• Ability to understand, analyse and articulate business requirements to determine automation strategy.
• Ability to Design and develop/customize Automation Frameworks based on POM, and data driven methodology.
• Proficient in developing/customizing test scripts.
• Good experience in system testing, Integration/Interface testing, end-to-end Testing, and User experience testing.
• Proficient on requirement gathering, analysis, test planning, test-preparation, test-strategy, test-coordination, and defect-triage.
• Proficient with Defect Tracking, defect-triage, test-metrics, and monitor testing progress across multiple teams.
• Proficient with RAIDs discovery and articulations.
• Exhibiting good techno-functional leadership to work with multiple teams and stake holders and communicate pointedly with limited info.
• Identify, log and track software defects and drive them to timely resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting data to cross-functional teams and/or management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Test Certifications are preferred (Agile SAFe certifications, ISTQB certifications, CSM, CSD, CSP)

• Building Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for test automation while working with multiple test-automation frameworks built on different technologies.
• Coding and scripting to support test automation framework augmentation/development, test-case automation, and creating test-suites using Eclipse (for Java), REST-Assured etc. and creating extent-reports.
• Managing Source-Code and branches in GitLab and setting up CI/CD pipelines for Continuous testing.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to plan, document, and coordinate SIT/UAT activities across multiple project liens for different releases.
• Work alongside product managers and business teams to define testing scope, update relevant scripts/ test-cases, and establish entry and exit criteria.
• Collaborate with business teams and product managers to prioritize defects based on impact, driving prompt closure, and maintaining product quality.
• Collaborate with project managers to plan and manage schedules for regression testing during every release, ensuring thorough coverage of use cases.

• Assist in end-users training sessions on new features, addressing their queries, and providing comprehensive support.
